FFACT meet at 10am on the second Sunday each month at the site’s entrance off the Old Bisley Road, opposite Vardon Place, GU16 9QA (SU 903 590). We work for around 3 hours, finishing about 1pm. Tasks range from conserving heathland rides to monitoring the wildlife on the Allotments.
Wear old and comfortable clothes, some sturdy walking boots or shoes, waterproofs (if rain is forecast) and gardening gloves. Bring a hot drink or a bottle of water and a snack, as we always stop for a break. We provide all the tools and some spare gloves.
